All Sam Bridgeman wanted when he transferred to Flagler College last fall was a chance to try out for the baseball team.
Flagler coach Dave Barnett is glad he gave him that chance.
“Sam’s been a great addition to our club,” Barnett said. “(He) had called me about wanting to come to Flagler. He just wanted to come back home and have the opportunity to play baseball. He’s really been a nice surprise for us because we were struggling offensively.”
